Rajeev Khandelwal gets candid about fan adoration and his return with Tum Ho Naa
Mumbai: Known for his timeless screen presence and memorable performances, from the brooding charm of Sujal Garewal to the disciplined intensity of Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. Rajeev Khandelwal has been the definitive "crush" of the Indian television era for over two decades.
However, even today, as he prepares to host Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming game show ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’, that admiration continues to grow stronger. Rajeev shares, “It fills me with a lot of pride to see the kind of love and support I receive from my fans and audiences. But I firmly believe that what I do is my work, and every project I take on is my way of giving back to them. I’ve always felt that it’s the characters I play that people connect with and fall in love with, more than me as a person—and that’s something I truly value.”
In a candid moment, Rajeev opened up about the love he receives from fans and how, at times, it turns into what he fondly calls a “fan crush” of his own. Rajeev Khandelwal shared, “At the same time, I have to admit, there are moments when I find myself smiling at how adorable fans can be. When you’re in a public space, you can’t always go up and interact the way you’d want to, but you do notice them, their excitement, their warmth, and it’s genuinely very sweet. Sometimes, you just feel like spending more time with them.”
As Rajeev steps into the role of a host for Tum Ho Naa, his signature charisma is doubling the excitement across town. The show, which celebrates the "superstars" of every household, provides the perfect stage for Rajeev to interact with the very people he admires most—the everyday viewers who have made him a household name.
Catch the ever-charismatic Rajeev Khandelwal on ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’, premiering 28th April at 9:00 PM, only on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
Thank you!
