Attack

‘Attack’ franchise is India’s answer to Hollywood An intriguing trailer got the audiences hooked to ‘Attack’; the expectation levels from the film have hit the roof. Apart from the performances by various actors, the thing that caught the viewer’s eyes are the explosive action sequences. Actor Ranjit Punia essays the character of the Indian defense force’s security in charge in the film. Commenting on the occasion Ranjit said “Most of the blast sequences in the film are shot in real life and are not VFX. An entire team of professionals immaculately planned and executed them – and they were captured in real life as a single-shot sequence. John Abraham and director Lakshya Raj Anand have taken humongous efforts to achieve perfection. The first time a blast happened on the set, my driver who was waiting for me near the car got shocked and nervous – he came rushing towards the set to check whether I am alright thinking that an untoward incident happened on the set. The entire cast and crew of the film have worked very hard to ensure that things are as real as possible.” Hailing from Chandigarh, Ranjit was last seen portraying Vaani Kapoor’s cousin in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The actor has been taking up projects in Hindi and Punjabi films after being a successful model; his last Punjabi outing was Gippy Grewal's directorial 'Shava ni Girdharilal' with Yami Gautam. “Attack is a franchise and will be having a sequel. I am sure that the film will make its mark on the international arena, this could be the face of Indian action films in the future. The action sequences, VFX, sound designing, etc. are all that the Indian audiences might have never seen in Hindi cinema before. I am confident that the film will enjoy super strong word-of-mouth publicity amongst the action aficionados” said an excited Ranjit as he signed off for the moment.
