The campaign is led by the lead actress Naghma Rizwan, releasing a video about the betrayal she faces in love as Kusum in “It Happened in Calcutta’ and the platform follows it up with Love Dhoka cards that are hilarious… to help people realize that there are two sides to every feeling.
These ‘Love Dhokha’ cards on the social media offer brilliant sarcastic wisdom words, usually distilled through painful personal experiences. While love is blind and can be an overwhelming feeling where life seems like a bed of roses, ALTBalaji urges us to celebrate the betrayals of our lives, so we can better appreciate true love when it happens.
The platform has uploaded a video which strikes the nail on the head with Naghma Rizwan, who plays Kusum in the show. She talks about her character who has had her fair share of heartbreaks and betrayals. But being the optimist and bubbly character that is she, Naghma looks at the bright side of things and wants us to celebrate the bad times and betrayals as well so that we realize the importance of the feeling that makes the world go round – love.
