Nervous – yes… But Proud to represent India, says Nandita Goldar, the Mrs Asia Universal 2019

 
“I feel blessed to be one of the million Indian women to represent India at the Mrs Universal Pageant 2019 in Mexico and I promise to do my best to bring the crown to India,” exclaims Nandita Goldar, the winner of Mrs Asia Universal 2019 organized by BloomFair Productions.
She is a manager in a bank, married to a banker, “Ours was an arranged marriage. My hubby Sujan Biswas is the greatest pillar of strength and I owe my success to him… Behind every successful woman is a man!”
Revealing about the selection process, she mentioned, “There were women contestants representing every state of India who went through auditions, online interviews and then 3 days grooming session in Udaipur.”
What would be the process internationally for the Mrs Universal Pageant? She replied, “There will be a Bridal Wear Round, followed by Fitness Round, Cocktail Shoot Round, Interviews and then finally the Talent Round ending in the Grand Finale.”
“Whereas the Miss Universal title is for Girls, the Mrs Universal title is for the recognition of the versatility and plenty other things in a woman. This title is basically to celebrate the woman who comes out successful in balancing her life along with the responsibilities of her family and the society,” Nandita added.
When asked about this Bengali beauty keeps so fit and fine, she replied, “I jog in the mornings for about 2 kms, do Gym along with Yoga and meditation, maintain a Healthy Diet and the biggest mantra is to go to bed early and wake up early.”
How would the contestants be judged in the international pageant in Mexico? “I have come to know a bit about the scoring there. They have 25% weightage to fitness, 25% towards how you carry yourself in the Evening gowns and the rest 50% is towards how you do in the interviews and how you carry yourself which is all about your attitude.”
When asked about what in your idea is an ideal woman, “She is the one who is involved in Community Service, loves everybody, has a caring nature and is helpful to others apart from being a lovable wife, daughter-in-law and a caring mother,” Nandita exclaimed.
