Rajeev Masand, Anupama Chopra interview Queen remake superstars

 

Top film critics and industry trackers Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra interviewed the lead actresses who are toplining the simultaneous South Indian remakes of the Kangana-starrer Queen. The leading ladies featuring in the Queen remakes are Parul Yadav, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah and Manjima Mohan. This historic simultaneous production of the films in four South Indian languages has generated interest in Bollywood as well. This is a positive move for the South Indian industries and will create audiences for their movies in North Indian states as well.

 

The Kannada remake of Queen is titled as ‘Butterfly’, directed by Ramesh Aravind. The dialogues have been written by Mamta Sagar & Ramesh Aravind and stars Parul Yadav. The film is presented by Taizoon Khorakiwala, produced by Manu Kumaran, co-produced by Parul Yadav, under the banner of Mediente Films.

 

The Tamil remake of Queen, titled ‘Paris Paris’, has been directed by Ramesh Aravind and has dialogues by Thamizhachi Thangapandian. It stars Kajal Aggarwal and has been presented by Taizoon Khorakiwala. The film is produced by Manu Kumaran, co-produced by Parul Yadav, under the banner of Mediente Films.

 

The Telugu remake of Queen, titled ‘That is Mahalakshmi’, stars Tamannaah. The film is presented by Taizoon Khorakiwala, produced by Manu Kumaran, co-produced by Parul Yadav, under the banner of Mediente Films.

 

The Malayalam remake of Queen is titled as ‘Zam Zam’ and has been directed by Neelakanta. The film has dialogues by Vipin Radhakrishnan and stars Manjima Mohan and Sunny Wayne. The film is presented by Taizoon Khorakiwala, produced by Manu Kumaran, co-produced by Parul Yadav, under the banner of Mediente Films.
