Zee TV’s show ‘Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre’ bids adieu… After enthralling the audiences for almost a year, Zee TV’s immensely popular show, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre produced by Jay Productions drew to an end on 23rd July 2018. The show garnered substantial eyeballs and had a dedicated viewer base with its compelling storyline, convincing performances by the ensemble cast and the Indian interpretation of Beauty and the Beast. The final episode will be aired on 24 July. The leads’ of the show Shoaib Ibrahim and Yesha Rughani get nostalgic and share some of their finest and most cherished moments from the show. Yesha Rughani says, “Every fairy tale has a happy ending, so does mine! Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre has been nothing less than a dream come true for me, right from the very first princess promo to the entire journey from Devi to Devika on the show, everything has been totally outstanding. With Devika emerging triumphant and tying the knot with her love Varun, the story comes to its logical end. She further adds, “The show has given me opportunities to constantly challenge my acting abilities with the various twists and turns and I’ve received a very favorable response from the industry. My heartfelt thanks to Zee TV and my producer for giving me this role and having faith in me to pull off such a character. I’ll definitely miss the show and portraying ‘Devi’ and ‘Devika’.” Commenting on his stint on the show, her co- actor Shoaib Ibrahim says, “This has been a landmark show for me and will always remain one of my favorites. I feel very proud and lucky to be a part of it. I am going to miss all the fun, drama and every person I came in touch through the show. Jeet Gayi … explored all the complexities of Devika Varun’s relationship and brought alive the characters beautifully. I am carrying with me all the good memories that we created here together and will cherish it forever.” Kudos to the entire team for putting up such a fantastic show and engaging the viewers with its gripping story for a whole year. We are certain that the fans are saddened to hear this news and will miss watching their favorite show and characters on-screen.
