Mouni Roy turns 11th Kesh King Gold Awards into a musical night
~Television’s biggest awards night will air on 24th June, 7 pm on Zee TV~
The 11th Kesh King Gold Awards was a star-studded evening with the creme de la crème of the television industry coming together to commemorate the achievers of the year gone by. Small screen’s popular faces Eisha Singh, Shoaib Ibrahim, Adnan Khan, Sriti Jha, Vivian Dsena, Drashti Dhami, Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy, Dipika Kakkar Karanvir Bohra, Karan Tacker, Krystle Dsouza, Mohsin Khan, Shivangi Joshi and many more graced the red carpet looking impeccably stylish and at their glamourous best.
This year, the awards ceremony was nothing short of an entertainment extravaganza with both talent and magnificence coming together. Amidst all the adulation, applause and power-packed performances, the hosts of the ceremony, Nakuul Mehta and Ali Azgar, raised the entertainment quotient and tickled everybody’s funny bone with their witty one-liners and goofy punchlines.
During the ceremony, the gorgeous Mouni Roy received the ‘Rising Film Star of Television’ Award and she took the opportunity to thank her fans and supporters. Ali complimented Mouni and joked that she has already struck ‘Gold’ (with her Gold Award) even before her movie ‘Gold’ releases. Not many are aware that apart from being a fine actor and performer, Mouni has a fabulous singer as well. Nakuul, moreover, requested Mouni to sing for everyone. She quickly obliged and hummed Lata Mangeshkar’s song ‘Aap ki nazron ne samjha’ for everyone. Well Mouni, you truly have a Golden voice!
The glitzy and glamorous 11th Kesh King Gold Awards witnessed many such entertaining instances of light-hearted moments including a tug-of-war between the leading ladies of television Karishma Tanna, Surbhi Jyoti, Sargun Mehta and Sriti Jha and hosts Nakuul Mehta and Ali Azgar. The stars also put up some splendid performances that left the audience asking for more. Helly Shah looked dreamy as she, along with actor Shakti Arora, danced to the romantic number Kaun Tujhe. The tough and handsome boys Karanvir Bohra, Karan Tacker, Gurmeet Choudhary gave an adrenaline pumping performance to the fast-paced hit High Rated Gabru, Baahubali and Khalibalirespectively. Bhabhiji’ Shubhangi Atre along with Mahesh Thakur wooed the audience with their comical performance to Aa Toh Sahi. With memories, jokes, dance and pure entertainment, the 11th Kesh King Gold Awards will present everything to viewers…piping hot!
