BOBBY DEOL SHARES HIS FAVORITE DHARMENDRA AND SUNNY DEOL MOVIES
Bobby Deol reveals all this and more in IMDb’s “The Insider’s Watch “
NATIONAL, June 19, 2018: Bobby Deol, is back on-screen in the much-anticipated action-thriller Race 3. During the promotion of his latest movie, Deol sat down with Film Critic Anupama Chopra to discuss the movies he’s looking forward to watching, his love for cinema, and his favorite movies by father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol on the latest episode of IMDb’s “The Insider’s Watchlist”.
Highlights include:
· Deol, who started his career with thrillers like Ajnabee and Humraz is greatly inspired by master of suspense director Alfred Hitchcock and by his movie North by Northwest. While expressing his appreciation for Hitchcock, Bobby said, “Hitchcock’s ‘North by Northwest’ is one of my favorites. I always wanted to do a film like that one. It was the biggest film as a child I saw.”
· Deol, a co-star to and a fan boy of his father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol, discussed his favorite movies starring the two actors, his father and brother’s films are dearest to his heart, he said, “I have always looked up to my dad, for me he is the most amazing actor the industry could ever have. Pratigya, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Sholay, are my favorites. Sholay was a magic.”
· When asked about his brother’s favorite work, Deol revered Sunny’s performance in Ghayal, Damini, Ghatak, and Betab to name a few.
· Though entertainment fans are anticipating the release of his upcoming film Race 3, Deol revealed the list of movies he has been most looking forward to seeing. He said, “I have been a ‘Star Wars’ fan and I am really waiting for the next. I am also waiting for ‘Iron Man’ as he is my favorite super hero and I love Robert Downey [Jr.] in it.”
· On IMDb’s “Insider’s Watchlist”, Deol additionally revealed his love for cinema and his thirst for entertainment. Deol is currently gearing up to star in Race 3with Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Sabiq Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
