With this move, the company ends its franchise agreement with InterContinental Hotel Group. Veteran actor Anupam Kher will make his Bilingual film in a role in the Chhodo kal Ki Baatien (Hindi) and Kashaala Udyachi Baat’ (Marathi) – by the Sai Prasad Group, a conglomerate which is into foods, properties, finance, infrastructure, construction, energy, media and entertainment. Producer By Balasaheb Bhapkar and Shanshank Bhapkar.

The film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Atul Parchure and Mrunal Kulkarni. In fact, Anupam Kher was shooting in Pune for the film when on an impulse, he suddenly announced he had to leave for Delhi to join Anna Hazare’s fast-unto-death at the Jantar Mantar. Everyone at the shooting thought there was a family emergency.. Kher cancelled all his other engagements for Anna Hazare. He said he felt the cause to save the nation was far more important than his own personal activities. "Screen pe leader aur neta bahut ban ke dekh liya. I wanted to feel alive by being close to a real crusader. Anna Hazare is a god-sent saviour," the actor says emotionally. "The only time I felt so close to divinity was when I met Mother Teresa."

At the Delhi protest venue, Kher brought the house down with his rendition of the Mukesh anthem "Kissiki muskurahaton pe ho nissar...Jeena ussi ka naam hai". His home came under attack and the actor himself faced a privilege motion in the Maharashtra assembly over his alleged comments about the Indian constitution.

13th International Indian Film Academy celebrations
kick-start with the IIFA Voting Weekend 2012 
30th March, 2012, Mumbai: The first day of the IIFA Voting Weekend saw several members of the Indian Film Fraternity come forward to cast their vote for IIFA Awards 2012. 30th March - 1st April 2012 marks the 13th year celebrations of the IIFA’s.  Amongst the many that came in were Dia Mirza, Arbaaz Khan, J. P Dutta, Ramesh Sippy, Parineeti Chopra, Vidyut Jamwal, Arjan Bajwa and the cast of Housefull 2, among others.

The cast of Housefull 2 - The Dirty Dozen showed up to vote for the 13th IIFA Awards, with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Asin, Shazahn Padamsee and Zarine Khan addressing the press today. The film is the second super star packed installment in the Housefull franchise. The director, Sajid Khan voted alongside the cast. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwalla of Nadiadwallah & Grandsons. The movie is set to release on the 6th of April

The voting weekend is largely restricted to individuals who are a part of the film industry and not the public at large. This ensures that the nominations derived are credible. The turnout by the industry was phenomenal and IIFA is one of the only Awards ceremonies for which the industry turns out collectively and in full force to cast their vote.
Every year, Academy members and the Film Industry are invited to cast their votes and shortlist nominations in the category of the Popular Awards. The Technical Award winners and the Popular Award nominations are derived from the voting weekend. Year on year over 1000 industry stalwarts, actors, directors, producers, technicians and composers and others have come forward to cast their votes, which will decide nominations for the awards.

akhilesh yadav was so impressed with composer Nikhil kamath that ,he
even sent his local singers to mumbai to record under his baton.
He knew that nikhil was the only bollywood composer who could deliver
the tunes according to his likings..and in the given time required.
Akhiklesh and composer nikhil recorded more than 25 songs which played
a crucial role in the victory of the samajwadi party.

vimal kashyap .
Nikhil kamath chose Javed ali as the main voice, and this decision
also worked out...
The songs composed by nikhil kamath wre melodious and soul
stirring...they were such tunes that though the lyrics were about the
samajwadi party, any common man would love to listen to them as they
wre very catchy ,and had hooklines which could be easily remembered..

Earth Hour 2012 in Support of Energy Conservation

INDIA- March 30th 2012 – As the English movie entertainment space gets more spirited; HBO has created a new benchmark by immediately getting the broadcast rights for the most talked about and critically acclaimed movie off recent - The Hunger Games, the first of a planned four-film series by Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. 

The Hunger Games, still in theaters across the world, has already posted the third-best opening in US history, breaking the worldwide box office records with $214 million haul in the opening weekend including $ 155 million in US alone, setting a new record for a non-sequel opening. The movie is expected to air soon in India exclusively on HBO, the channel that has a strong reputation of bringing the biggest and the latest Hollywood premieres year on year to Indian audience.

The Hunger Games is an American dystopian science fiction action-drama film directed by Gary Ross and based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence as a teen forced to compete in a televised death match against other youths in a future North American society where a privileged capital city oppresses the people of 12 outlying worker districts. Its sequel Catching Fire is soon expected to get into production.

Sumit Kaul Plays a fine Doctor in "Bumboo”


Sumit Kaul, as the doctor, does a fine job.  The acting is par excellence ,with everyone screaming their lungs out. Sumit Kaul looks funny in a moustache. He succeeds to grab the attention of audience! Sumit is wonderful, though the film & hilarious at times. BUMBOO is a story based on the idea that in this life we all meet someone who comes and screws it all up..  Sumit Kaul, as the doctor, does a fine job.

Dr.Brendan d'souza is what he plays in the film ,Just imagine having done Masters in International Business, Sumit would have been sitting pretty well in some corporate environment, drawing a huge salary and leading a more conventional lifestyle! But as they say fate had a different role etched out for him. Sumit did a course in English speech and drama from Trinity college of London.Very few people may be aware that Sumit has done voiceover for Discovery channel programs in Urdu, Hindi and English as well. He is currently the narrator of two shows on TLC.
Talking about his projects Sumit says that he is also doing voice over for the show Feast Bazaar on TLC. He also adds that he has dubbed for DVD versions of Kungfu Panda and Wolfman. Sumit signs off by saying that he enjoys doing voice overs as it balances his career.
Being creatively inclined drew him to theatre, where his association with Nadira Babbar’s Ekjut theater group, he was able to find his calling card.He did several plays with them, when he landed a negative role in “Laagi Tujse Lagan”, a family soap on Colors Channel, which may see a second run if things fall in place.
Sumit Kaul better known as the scheming Sudarshan of ‘Laagi Tujse Lagan’ on Colors channel is a multifaceted artist.Sumit is also a well known face in advertising circles, with many prominent ads to his credit.Sumit is a pure vegetarian and health and fitness freak. “For me fitness is a constant effort to maintain physical, mental and most of all spiritual harmony. The rib tickler, starring Kavin Dave, Sharat Saxena, Sanjay Mishra,Sudhir Pandey, Sumit Kaul and Mandy Takhar, revolves around many
individuals, including a professional hit-man, a press photographer, a cop etc. who knowingly or unknowingly mess up the happiness of others. Directed by Rajpurohit, it releases on March 30.

January 2012: Veteran actor Anupam Kher will make his Bilingual film in a role in the Chhodo kal Ki Baatien (Hindi) and Kashaala Udyachi Baat’ (Marathi) – by the Sai Prasad Group, a conglomerate which is into foods, properties, finance, infrastructure, construction, energy, media and entertainment. Producer By Balasaheb Bhapkar and Shanshank Bhapkar.

I wanted to feel alive by being close to a real crusader. Anna Hazare is a god-sent saviour," the actor says emotionally. "The only time I felt so close to divinity was when I met Mother Teresa."

At the Delhi protest venue,Kher brought the house down with his rendition of the Mukesh anthem "Kissiki muskurahaton pe ho nissar...Jeena ussi ka naam hai". His home came under attack and the actor himself faced a privilege motion in the Maharashtra assembly over his alleged comments about the Indian constitution.

 SYNOPSIS:-

The movie shows the journey of an IT professional (Sachin Khedekar) from his workaholic stage where he always craves for more, to a stage where he is satisfied and content and living the present. During this journey he comes across an interesting inspirational individual, Charismatic Blind man (Anupam Kher) who makes him understand the importance of living life wholeheartedly. Overall the film is a feel good cinema suiting all ages.
