National, 1st October 2026: Some stories refuse to stay buried and some secrets come at a price. As Drishyam The Conclusion gets ready for its theatrical release on 2nd October, the film’s complete soundtrack is now out, bringing together different emotions and tensions that have shaped Vijay Salgaonkar’s journey, played by Ajay Devgn. From the dark intensity of revenge to the warmth of family and the pressure of everything closing in, the album moves through different sides of Salgaonkar’s world. The album arrives with its final piece, ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, a sweeping music retelling of the events of Drishyam and Drishyam 2 that brings the story so far into focus before the final chapter unfolds.
At the heart of, ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’ is the story that brought the Salgaonkar’s to The Conclusion. The track revisits the fear, choices, consequences and sacrifices that have defined their journey across the first two films. Sunidhi Chauhan’s powerful vocals give the song the scale and emotion needed to look back at a story that has stayed with audiences for years, while setting the emotional stage for what lies ahead in Drishyam The Conclusion.
The soundtrack has already explored different sides of Vijay Salgaonkar’s world. ‘Vingansa’, composed by Ravi Basrur, written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and sung by Siddharth Basrur, brought a sense of danger and revenge to the forefront. ‘Muskura Do’, composed by Rochak Kohli, written by Manoj Muntashir and sung by Lucky Ali, took a more intimate turn towards Vijay Salgaonkar’s family and the warmth at the heart of everything he does. KARMA’s ‘Game Over’, produced by KARMA and AK4EAL, brought a darker, harder rap energy to the soundtrack, reflecting the growing pressure around Vijay.
Talking about the music album of the film, Ajay Devgn shares, "The music of Drishyam has always been a character in itself. It brings out the emotions and connects audiences more deeply with the story. It remains an important part of the franchise."
Director Abhishek Pathak said,“We wanted the album to reflect the film rather than make every song sound the same. Vijay’s story has gone through so many emotions over the years; fear, family, hope, pressure, revenge and the music had to reflect that. Each composer brought a different sensibility to the film, which is what makes the album interesting. ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’ was particularly important because it looks back at everything that has happened so far and gives the audience a musical recap before they step into the final chapter.”
And with ‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’, carrying the memory of the franchise with it, Sunidhi Chauhan shares, “‘Daastaan: The Drishyam Recap’ was special because the song carries so much of the story with it. You are not singing about just one moment; you are looking back at everything Vijay and his family have gone through. While recording it, I wanted the voice to feel like it was taking you through those memories rather than simply singing a song. There is a lot of drama in the story, but there is also a very strong emotional core, and I tried to hold on to that while singing it.”
