Glittering night of 5th Mumbai Global Achievers Awards 

It was a memorable night. A night glittering with achievers who were felicitated for their contribution in the field of Art, Culture, Literature and Entertainment. It was also a night shining with stars who won hearts of the audience with their beauty and brain. The jury headed by 'Ashiqui' heartthrob Rahul Roy was thrilled by the witty replies given by participants of Ms and Mrs Mumbai Global India Beauty Contest. The musical function organised by Rajkumat Tiwari, Group Editor of 'Mumbai Global' (weekly newspaper published in Hindi and English) started with lighting of lamp by distinguished guests, who included Shrimati Saraswati Devi (mother of Rajkumar Tiwari), Rahul Roy, Prithvi, Vaishnavi Mcdonald, Aroon Bakhshi, Savita Rana Bharti, Shweta Roy, Shabbir Ali, Ranbir Gehlot and show director Pallavi Kaushik. Sagar Sarhadi, writer of films like 'Kabhi Kabhi', 'Noori', 'Chandni' was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award. Actor Ali Khan, Gufi Paintal, Sunil Pal, Pankaj Berry, Shahbaz Khan, choreographer Sanjay Korbe, Dr Ajay Sahay, Raees Khan, journalist Sharad Rai, Priyanka Singh Rajput, Pooja Gupta, Aparna Bharti, Prem Gada, Minoo Kumar, Rachna Bhimrajka, Gulshan Pandey, Raju Gawli were also felicitated on this occasion. 'Dabang 3' fame Singer Shabab Sabri, director Mangesh Pawar, Rashmi Mukherjee, Madhu Kumari, Poorti Dhingra, Anita Singh, Nivedita Chakravarty, Abhishek Khandelwal, Vinita Bindal, Shailesh Vobhate, Nihar Saraswala, Shrishti Maheshwari, Vinod Kumar were also felicitated. Saya Baruah won the title of Mrs Mumbai Global India. Shweta Mate, Dimple Panchal and Hema Saxena were declared first, second and third runner up. Anu Kamboj won the title of Ms Mumbai Global India. Tashika Arora, Shruti Aru and Sejal Kerkatta were declared first, second and third runner up. The show was beautifully compered by Sufian Kapadia and Leslie Tripathi. Mamta Manglani (Dress partner), Samya Dhamaskar & Ghazal Sheikh (Makeup partners) and Pallavi Kaushik (Show director) contributed immensely to make the event a big success. The event was successfully managed by film director Azhar Husain, proprietor of Redacid Films.
