During the latest episode, Indian Idol Season 12 winner *Salman Ali* asked host *Rohit Sharma* about how his approach to cricket and life beyond has evolved from his 20s to the present day. Rohit candidly recalled facing fierce opposition on his early Australian tours as a 20-year-old, where intimidating fast bowlers and vocal crowds tested his patience. He shared how age, experience, and time taught him that cricket is much more than just what happens with bat and ball. Sharing his perspective on personal growth and navigating the noise off the field, *Rohit Sharma* revealed by saying, _"Jab main ek baar Australia mein khel raha tha, toh tab Brett Lee ball daal raha tha aur tab main 20 saal ka hi tha, toh baaki log bolte the ki Brett Lee ball daal raha hain aur yeh kya karega. Tabh thoda ghussa aata hain obviously and darr bhi lagta hain ki aisa kyu bol rahe hain toh aisa hota tha jab bahar khelne jaate the. Main jab vaha net mein practise karta tha voh vaha ke log piche khade hoke bohot pareshan kar rahe the ek baar toh tabhi mujhe ghussa aaya tha. Lekin yeh sab hota rehta hain, this is part of a cricketers life. Jab aap bat pakadte ho and match mein hote ho toh voh chalo hum deal kar lete hain lekin uske bahar jab aap confernce mein hote ho ya airport mein hote ho vaha sab kahi sawal jawab hote hain toh usse sambhlana aana chahiye aur yeh sab chize 20 - 22 saal mein aapko samaj mein nahi aati, with age aapko samaj mein aata hain. Main samaj gaya ki yeh sab toh hote hi rahega lekin main joh field mein karne aaya hoon uspe focus karna chahiye. Toh finally main sirf yeh kehna chahata hoon aapko with age ya with time samaj mein aata hain ki yeh bahar ke cheezo se kaise deal karna hain sirf bat and ball se kaam khatam nahi hota, cricket ke saath yeh joh bahar ki cheeze hoti hain usse aap kaise deal karte ho voh important hain, bass run banana hi humara kaam nahi hain yeh sab baaki cheeze bhi hoti hain."_ Rohit's insightful words resonated strongly with the audience and celebrity guests alike, providing a powerful masterclass on resilience, focus, and handling the intense spotlight of modern sports. *Watch Family Full House with Rohit Sharma, every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.*

PNG Jewellers brings Madhuri Dixit and Ranbir Kapoor together in its new brand campaign, Unstoppable Legacy. Mumbai, 19 October 2026: Madhuri Dixit and Ranbir Kapoor talk about legacy; the audience assumes they mean their own, and the reveal is that they are talking about PNG Jewellers. That is the idea behind Unstoppable Legacy, the new campaign from PNG Jewellers, one of India’s most trusted legacy jewellery brands. It is the first PNG Jewellers TVC to feature the two brand ambassadors, Madhuri Dixit and Ranbir Kapoor, and it goes live today across national television and digital platforms as the festive and wedding season begins. The film is set backstage at a show. Ranbir opens with, “Hume introduction ki kya zaroorat, hum toh old gold hain” (We need no introduction, we are old gold). Madhuri replies, “Lakhon dilon mein base rehna, koi aasan baat hai kya?” (Is it easy to stay in millions of hearts?) As they speak about winning over every generation and a shine that never fades, one has inherited a legacy, and the other has created her own. The reveal comes on stage: it was about PNG Jewellers all along. The film ends on the line, Unstoppable Legacy. Speaking on the launch, Dr. Saurabh Gadgil, Chairman and Managing Director of PNG Jewellers, said, “Legacy is earned over generations. PNG Jewellers has built its own since 1832, and families have trusted us with their most important occasions for decades. Madhuri Dixit has created a legacy of her own and Ranbir Kapoor carries one forward, which is why they were the right duo to tell this story as the festive and wedding season begins.” Hemant Chavaan, Head, Marketing, E-commerce, CRM and CSR, PNG Jewellers, said, A legacy brand’s real risk is being admired and not chosen. We wanted a film a younger viewer would share, and her mother would enjoy, with PNG Jewellers earning the last frame. Madhuri Dixit brings the trust families place in us, Ranbir Kapoor brings a new generation, and the reveal shows a brand that has been at this since 1832 and is still moving strong. Unstoppable Legacy is the line we want the brand to carry.” Madhuri Dixit said, “Staying in people’s hearts for years is not easy, and the same is true for a brand. PNG Jewellers has done that for generations, and I have been proud to be part of this brand for many years. Shooting this film with Ranbir was great fun, and I hope viewers enjoy the twist.” Ranbir Kapoor said, “Legacy comes with responsibility. You respect what came before, and you still make it your own. PNG Jewellers has done that since 1832, which is why joining the family felt right. Working with Madhuri ma’am on this film was a pleasure.” The film will run on Star Plus, ET Now, Aaj Tak and Republic Bharat, on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and connected TV, and in PNG Jewellers stores and theatres. The campaign is supported by festive offers on gold and diamond jewellery, available across all stores till 15 November 2026. Watch the film: https://youtu.be/LECd0s-ba-E

UMANG 2026: A Celebration of Culture, Community and Compassion CAIAS’s flagship cultural event brings the community together to support the daughter of a member of its campus family. Bengaluru, October 2026: Christ Academy Institute of Advanced Studies (CAIAS) hosted UMANG 2026 – Rangilo Chowk on October 16, bringing together students, families, performers and well-wishers for a celebration of Indian culture, music and dance. Inspired by the colours and traditions of Indian folk culture, Rangilo Chowk featured a folk dance competition, a lively flea market showcasing independent stalls, and an evening of Dandiya and DJ celebrations. The event brought together cultural expression, local entrepreneurship and community spirit, with a shared social purpose at its heart. CAIAS extends its heartfelt gratitude to the participants, performers, stall owners, guests, volunteers, students, staff members, supporters and partners who made the celebration possible.
