Rajeev Khandelwal Recalls Rajesh Khanna’s Iconic ‘Anand’ Dialogue on Tum Ho Naa 28th April 2026, Mumbai: Rajeev Khandelwal once again proved why he stands out as a host on Tum Ho Naa, bringing depth and relatability to every conversation, as he turned a simple interaction into a meaningful reflection on life, relationships, and equality. During one of the rounds on Tum Ho Naa, Rajeev asked contestants how they would use the prize money if they won. Pooja shared that her house is currently too small, and she hopes to buy a bigger one by putting the prize money towards a down payment, along with her savings. When Rajeev inquired further, she revealed she had managed to save around 5 to 6 lakhs. Adding a light-hearted twist, Rajeev turned to her husband Kartik and asked whether handing over his entire salary meant he wasn’t good at budgeting or simply trusted his wife completely. Rajeev then humorously added, “Kyunki generally jo aadmi hote hain, unko lagta hai… ‘arre isko kya samajh mein aayega, saara yeh toh mujhe hi karna padega’.” Taking the conversation forward, Rajeev asked, “Aapko lagta hai ki yeh aapse zyada hoshiyar hai uss maamle mein.” Kartik candidly admitted that he believes his wife is indeed smarter. Rajeev further added an emotional layer, asking, “Zindagi mein aisa koi lamha aaya ho jab aapko yeh mehsoos hua ho… ‘actually Pooja, tujh sa koi nahi dooja.’ Aisa koi moment aaya life mein? Kyunki aisa bharosa raaton-raat nahi aata.” Kartik responded with a smile, summing it up simply: ‘Happy wife happy life’. The conversation then took a heartwarming turn when Rajeev asked Pooja if she had ever done something unexpected. She revealed that while working at a small company, she had saved money and surprised her husband with a scooty. Kartik shared how this thoughtful gesture changed his daily routine, as he now commutes to work on the scooty instead of taking the train. Reflecting on the conversation, Rajeev said, “aap ne abhi ye baat kahi yaha par ki chhoti zindagi hai.” He then brought in a timeless cinematic reference, asking, “aap ne Anand film dekhi hai? Uss mai ek dialogue Rajesh Khanna ji ne kaha tha, ‘Zindagi lambi nhi badi honi chahiye’.” He concluded with a powerful and inclusive thought, “ye chhoti zindagi kuch nahi hoti hai, hum sab barabar ke hai, hum sab apna kaam kar rahe hai, apna apna kitchen chalate hai.” In this heartfelt moment on Tum Ho Naa, Rajeev Khandelwal once again showcased his ability to turn everyday conversations into meaningful life lessons, leaving the audience with a simple yet powerful reminder about trust, equality, and truly valuing the life we live. Watch Tum Ho Naa, hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal, starting from 28th April, at 9:00 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television & Sony LIV.
