Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda open up on Being Great Friends When Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda first stepped into the world of Saiyaara, little did audiences know they were about to witness one of the most electric on-screen pairings of the biggest love story of the decade. But here’s the secret sauce: their chemistry wasn’t planned, it blossomed organically, just like great friendships do. Ahaan says it best, “I think I am senior to Aneet in age but I feel she is senior to me when it comes to talent and ‘kaabiliyat’… I think when two people genuinely become great friends, you don’t have to plan the chemistry on screen… whatever happens, happens naturally and effortlessly.” Aneet reflects on those early days of bonding… “When I met Ahaan for the first time, I knew that I am going to be very comfortable with this person… there was something very disarming about him,” she shares. She recalls the first time she met Mohit Suri and Ahaan together, and confesses she was nervous, “I was messing up a bit, I was cracking jokes that weren’t landing, and woh bechara phir bhi has raha tha!” But that meeting opened the doors to something special. “He played the guitar, we sang songs, chatted a lot in the car when he came to drop me home and that’s when I thought he is a fantastic presence to be around with. I really liked him and his energy.” She continues, “We became very good friends in the months before the shoot, met a lot, shared our doubts and fears… When I went on the set, I felt very safe and comfortable because we already had each other’s backs.” And now, for all the fans who can’t get enough of Ahaan and Aneet’s undeniable chemistry, Saiyaara is set for its World Television Premiere on 20th December at 8 pm on Sony MAX… the perfect excuse to cozy up and fall in love with them all over again!
