*"Most of my time is spent looking for money to make a film" says Rajat Kapoor* The 13th edition of Rajnigandha presents Jagran Film Festival 2025, recognised as the world’s largest travelling film festival, continues to bring together artists, audiences, and conversations that celebrate the evolving spirit of Indian cinema. On Day 3 in Delhi, acclaimed filmmaker and actor Rajat Kapoor, known for Ankhon Dekhi, Kapoor & Sons, and Dil Chahta Hai took part in the session *"In Conversation: Rajat Kapoor & Radheshyam Pipalwa"* ahead of the premiere of his film ‘ *Putul*’ which was shown to the audiences right after the conversation Sharing his thoughts on the craft, *Kapoor* said,_“Most of my time is spent looking for money to make a film, and that’s the most tedious, exhausting part of it. Writing, on the other hand, is great fun. What I love about filmmaking is that every stage is so different. Writing is a solitary joy, shooting is a beautiful chaos with 120 people, and editing is a quiet, intimate process. There isn’t a part of filmmaking that I don’t love."_ The candid reflection offered audiences an intimate glimpse into the passion and perseverance that fuel his journey in cinema.
