After the terrific response to the song poster unveiled yesterday, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran together in the frame, the makers of Daayra have now released the song teaser, setting the mood for the highly anticipated track.Featuring a powerful voiceover by Gulzar, the teaser captures the tension and emotional depth of the upcoming crime thriller, hinting at the questions and complexities that lie at the heart of its story.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, Daayra stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in titular roles. Inspired by true events, the film delves into a complex crime through two perspectives, exploring emotions, perceptions and the many shades of truth. Following Raazi, Talvar and Sam Bahadur, Meghna Gulzar once again brings her emotional storytelling to the soundtrack, creating a song that is sure to tug at the heartstrings.

Mr. Amitabh Bachchan said, _“Jaise Kamaljit ji keh rahe the, ek chhote bachche ko chalna sikhate hain, kya-kya hai vo batana padta hai. Aise halat ho gaye the unke aur aapne usko itne khoobi se sikhaya hai, bilkul inko.”_ (As Kamaljit ji was saying, when you teach a small child to walk, you have to tell them everything. That is how difficult his condition had become, and you taught him so beautifully, just like that)
Kamaljit's wife replied, _”Kyun ki khane ka pehle jo khane ka style tha vo different tha. Accident ke baad inko pata nahi chalta tha khana kaise hai. Shuru mein toh main inko apne haath se khilate the, kyun ke khana inke muh mein idhar jaa raha hai, udhar jaa raha hai. Vo dheere-dheere vapis sikha hai inhone kaise chalna hai, kaise baithna hai, kaise kapde pehenna hai. Vo bahut difficult time tha vo.”_ (Because the way he used to eat before was different. After the accident, he could not understand how to eat. In the beginning, I used to feed him with my own hands because the food would go here and there in his mouth. Slowly, he learned again how to walk, how to sit, and how to wear clothes. It was a very difficult time)
Speaking about the present day and seeing Kamaljit Singh being able to eat with his own hands, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan added, _"Apne haath se inko khana khilana, ye bahut hi romantic baat hoti hai.”_ (Feeding him with your own hands is a very romantic thing)
Kamaljit Singh’s wife then responded, _“Main accident se pehle bhi khilate the."_ (I used to feed him even before the accident)

पार्वती तिरुवोथु का पहली बार पुलिस अफसर वाला अंदाज़, ‘प्रधमा दृष्ट्या कुट्टकार’ से अलीना अब्राहम का फर्स्ट लुक आउट!
नेशनल अवॉर्ड विजेता पार्वती तिरुवोथु अब तक के अपने सबसे अलग अवतार में नज़र आने वाली हैं। उनकी अपकमिंग मलयालम थ्रिलर ‘प्रधमा दृष्ट्या कुट्टकार’ से उनके किरदार अलीना अब्राहम का फर्स्ट लुक सामने आ गया है, जिसमें पार्वती पहली बार पुलिस कॉन्स्टेबल की वर्दी में दिखाई दे रही हैं।
फर्स्ट लुक में पार्वती का अंदाज़ बेहद कम्पोज़्ड लेकिन दमदार है। अपनी करीब दो दशक लंबी एक्टिंग जर्नी में यह पहली बार है जब वह पर्दे पर एक पुलिस अफसर का किरदार निभा रही हैं।
अलीना अब्राहम के रूप में पार्वती एक महिला कॉन्स्टेबल का किरदार निभा रही हैं, जिसकी प्रोफेशनल लाइफ अचानक एक ऐसे मोड़ पर पहुंच जाती है, जहां से कहानी और भी टेंस और इंट्रिगिंग हो जाती है।
अलीना के किरदार में कदम रखने को लेकर पार्वती कहती हैं,
_“हर किरदार अपने साथ एक रिस्पॉन्सिबिलिटी लेकर आता है और अलीना मेरे लिए खास तौर पर इंटरेस्टिंग थी, क्योंकि वह जिस दुनिया में रहती है और वहां उसे जो चॉइसेज़ लेने पड़ते हैं, वो काफी दिलचस्प हैं। पहली बार मैं एक पुलिस अफसर का किरदार निभा रही हूं, इसलिए यूनिफॉर्म पहनने से लेकर उस जगह और जिम्मेदारी को समझना मेरे लिए बिल्कुल नया एक्सपीरियंस था।
लेकिन मेरे लिए सिर्फ यूनिफॉर्म पहनना ही मायने नहीं रखता था। मैं अलीना को एक महिला के तौर पर समझना चाहती थी… उसकी वल्नरेबिलिटीज़, उसका ड्यूटी के प्रति कमिटमेंट और जब उसके आसपास की सिचुएशन बदलने लगती है, तब उसका रिएक्शन क्या होता है।
उसकी ज़िंदगी में कई चीज़ें उसके कंट्रोल से बाहर होती जाती हैं, लेकिन वह हार नहीं मान सकती। मुझे लगता है कि अलीना के बारे में अभी बहुत कुछ ऐसा है जो कहा नहीं गया है और बतौर एक्टर यही चीज़ मुझे सबसे ज्यादा एक्साइटिंग लगी। अब मैं यह देखने के लिए क्यूरियस हूं कि ऑडियंस अलीना और उसकी जर्नी को किस तरह समझती है।”_
डायरेक्टर शाहद के निर्देशन में बनी ‘प्रधमा दृष्ट्या कुट्टकार’ की कहानी एक पुलिस स्टेशन की बैकड्रॉप पर सेट है, जहां एक मर्डर केस, बढ़ता शक और इन्वेस्टिगेशन पूरी कहानी को एक दिलचस्प मोड़ पर ले जाते हैं। इस पूरी कहानी के सेंटर में अलीना अब्राहम हैं।
और खास बात यह है कि पार्वती का विमेन कॉप्स से कनेक्शन सिर्फ ‘प्रधमा दृष्ट्या कुट्टकार’ तक सीमित नहीं है।
उन्होंने ‘दायरा अंजूनी’ में करीना कपूर खान के किरदार के लिए अपनी आवाज़ भी दी है, जहां करीना भी एक पुलिस ऑफिसर का किरदार निभा रही हैं। यानी एक तरफ पार्वती खुद यूनिफॉर्म पहनकर एक महिला पुलिसकर्मी का किरदार निभा रही हैं, तो दूसरी तरफ उनकी आवाज़ एक दूसरे फीमेल कॉप के किरदार को मिल रही है।
दोनों किरदार भले ही लॉ एनफोर्समेंट की दुनिया से जुड़े हों, लेकिन दोनों की कहानियां और पर्सपेक्टिव्स काफी अलग हैं। यही कॉन्ट्रास्ट इन दोनों पोर्ट्रेयल्स को और भी फ्रेश और इंट्रिगिंग बनाता है।
इतना ही नहीं, पार्वती के पास आगे भी एक एक्साइटिंग लाइन-अप है। वह एचआरएक्स और अमेज़न की अपकमिंग सीरीज़ ‘स्टॉर्म’ में भी नज़र आने वाली हैं, यानी एक्ट्रेस की पहले से ही डायवर्स फिल्मोग्राफी में एक और नया डायमेंशन जुड़ने वाला है।

Love Lottery’ Trailer Unveiled, Promising a Twisted Ride Through Love, Betrayal and Hidden Truths
2-minute 10-second trailer blends relationship drama, legal battles and suspense, while raising questions around men’s rights
New Delhi: The trailer for the upcoming Hindi suspense thriller social courtroom drama ‘Love Lottery’ was unveiled at a special press conference in New Delhi. The event brought together the film’s lead cast Akshay Oberoi, Vijayant Kohli and Agni Agyari, along with director Arvind Pandey and producer Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’. Several families who have personally experienced what they describe as the misuse of women-centric laws were also present at the launch.
Produced under the banner of Cinema-Ganj Films, ‘Love Lottery’ takes a closer look at modern relationships, marriage, betrayal and the legal battles that can follow, while bringing the subject of men’s rights into its dramatic narrative.
Running for 2 minutes and 10 seconds, the trailer immediately sets up a world where love is not always what it seems. Behind the polished image of modern relationships lie mistrust, deception and emotional conflict. As the story unfolds, elements such as marriage, divorce, betrayal and money-driven marriages add further mystery to the plot.
What also stands out in the trailer is its sharp and emotionally charged dialogue. One line, “Some things can belong only to two people — one’s child and one’s self,” adds a deeply personal and confrontational edge to the relationship drama, hinting at the emotional battles at the film's heart.
Akshay Oberoi leads the film as the story moves through love, trust, suspicion and a fight for justice. Heli Daruwala and the supporting cast add further layers to a narrative that appears to constantly shift between love, conflict and unanswered questions. The trailer leaves audiences wondering: What really happened inside the relationship? Who is telling the truth? Who is right and who is wrong? And what exactly lies behind the title ‘Love Lottery’?
Director Arvind Pandey says, “Love Lottery is not just a story about relationships. It explores questions that many people can relate to today. ‘Love Lottery’ is produced by Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ under the Cinema-Ganj Films banner and directed by Arvind Pandey. The story and screenplay are written by Ankur Khattri.
The film stars Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala in the lead, with Kabir Duhan Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Hemant Pandey, Indira Krishnan, Santosh Shukla, Vikramm Sharma, Agni Agyari, Kumar Saurabh, Ashwant Lodhi and Arshdeep Sandhu in key roles.
