Karan Johar hosted an intimate evening at Neuma Kolkata on Saturday, September 19. Set on the 24th floor of JW Marriott Kolkata, the restaurant welcomed guests from the worlds of fashion, design, hospitality and entertainment for an evening shaped by food and conversation. Throughout the evening, Karan spent time with guests and the team behind Neuma, including its chefs and service staff. The gathering offered a chance to experience the restaurant as intended: around the table, with its contemporary menu, considered interiors and the city as a backdrop. “Neuma has always felt like a place where you can settle in, enjoy the food and let the evening unfold. It was wonderful to experience that in Kolkata and spend time with everyone who makes the place what it is,” said Karan Johar. For Neuma, the evening reflected the spirit of the restaurant: bringing people together in a setting that feels distinctive yet welcoming. “Having Karan here with our team and guests made this a special evening for us,” said Ankit Tayal, Co-founder, Neuma. “We wanted Neuma Kolkata to be a place people return to for the food, the setting and the way they feel when they’re here.
