Jackie Shroff Remembers Dev Anand’s Words of Encouragement and His First Break in Films only on India’s Best Dancer Season 5 Grand Finale 24th September 2026, Mumbai: After a season filled with breathtaking performances, powerful stories, dance battles, and unforgettable moments, India’s Best Dancer Season 5 on Sony Entertainment Television culminates with its much-awaited two-day Grand Finale on Saturday and Sunday, 26th and 27th September. Celebrating the spirit of ‘India Wala Dance’ that has defined the season, the finale will see Jackie Shroff join judges Karisma Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis for the grand celebration. Adding a nostalgic touch to the celebration, Jackie Shroff recalled the early days of his film career and the support he received from legendary Dev Anand, who gave him his first opportunity in films. Reminiscing his early experiences with action sequences, Jackie shared how Dev Anand reassured the crew, “Take it easy, naya ladka hai,” giving the young actor the confidence to take on the challenge. His story resonated with the journey of the contestants on India’s Best Dancer, who have grown through the season with the encouragement and guidance of the judges. Throughout the season, Karisma Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi, Geeta Kapur, and Terence Lewis have pushed the contestants to take risks and bring their own style to the stage. Hosted by Harssh Limbachiyaa, season 5 has seen the dancers explore diverse dance forms while showcasing their technique, creativity and individuality. The Top 5 finalists Prathamesh Mane, Geetanjali Marwaha, Anshika Dhara, Dipali Borkar, and Ritesh Pal are set to take the stage at the Grand Finale with their final performances, competing for the coveted winner trophy.
