*Amitabh Bachchan Announces First Day of KBC Shoot in Emotional Note to Fans* *Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan* is all set to begin shooting for the latest season of *Kaun Banega Crorepati* , a milestone he shared while expressing gratitude to fans on August 2, a day widely regarded as his _"rebirth day."_ In a heartfelt note on his blog, the 83-year-old actor wrote that it was time to head for the first day of KBC's shoot, thanking fans for their unwavering prayers and affection that have stood by him over the years. Sharing his message, Amitabh wrote, _"Samay ho gaya hai kal, KBC ke pehle din ki recording ka. To main chala, ek aur chunauti ka saamna karne, aap sab ke aashirvaad aur sneh ke saath."_ (It is now time for the first day of recording for KBC tomorrow. So, I leave to take on another challenge, with all your blessings and affection.) The veteran actor also thanked fans for their overwhelming love through calls, messages and greetings, saying, _"I must most humbly accept the most gracious and kind words expressed on the phone and through gestures at the GOJ. It shall be very difficult to reply each one personally, so I put it here for all. Your kindness has no bounds and the affection that follows is simply insurmountable!!"_ August 2 holds special significance in Amitabh Bachchan's life, as it marks the day he survived the life-threatening accident on the sets of Coolie in 1982. Remembering the occasion, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who remembered him and sent their wishes. In his note, he wrote in Hindi, _"2 August ki baatein... bahut kam logon ko iska gyaan hai, par jitnon ne bhi likh kar apni shubhkaamnayein bheji hain, main hriday se apna aabhaar vyakt karta hoon. Kyunki ye aap sab ki prarthnaayein thi, jis se sambhav hua ki aaj main aap sab se is maadhyam ke dwaara, apna aabhaar prakat kar sakoon."_ Translated into English, the message read: _"Very few people know the significance of August 2, but I sincerely thank everyone who sent me their wishes. It was your prayers that made it possible for me to express my gratitude to all of you through this medium today."_ He further reflected on the importance of time, writing, _"Samay bada balwaan hota hai. Aur aaj ka samay sada aap sab ki prarthnaon ki wajah se sambhav ho paaya hai."_ ("Time is very powerful. And this moment today has been made possible because of all your prayers.") Earlier on Sunday, hundreds of admirers gathered outside Bachchan's Mumbai residence, *Jalsa* , for his customary weekly greeting.
