When Rajeev pointed out Akriti Kakar’s strong connection with Bengal despite being a Kakar, he said, _"Mere hisaab se Kakar jo hote hain, Punjabi hote hain. Bengal se kya rishta hai aapka?"_ To this, Akriti replied, _"Main aapko sach bataun, mujhe nahi pata yeh rishta kaise bana. Main kisi Durga pandal mein gaa rahi thi. Wahan pe mujhe Jeet Ganguly da ki wife ne dekha mujhe gaate hue. Unhone bola, 'Eto bhalo, mishti, so sweet-sounding girl.' Toh bola isko shayad Bengali cinema mein gaana chahiye.
