The film will chronicle one of India’s most controversial and politically charged terror investigations — the Malegaon blast case. The project is in its pre-production stage, with the cast and crew expected to be locked soon, according to the makers. The film aims to present a gripping and sensitive portrayal of the 2008 Malegaon bomb blasts, which shook the nation and led to a long, complicated legal battle that exposed lapses in investigative agencies, alleged custodial torture, and raised questions about the fairness of justice. Speaking about the film, director Rajiv S Ruia said, "This is not just a story about a blast — it’s about what followed.
