Actor Sanam Saeed who played Ruhina Behroze Khan in the show said “Diyar-E-Dil is a beautifully shot very nuanced show. Portraying the character of Ruhina was a great learning experience and it helped me widen my horizons as an actor. I essay the role of a simple girl from a middle-class family, who has multiple layers and emotions to her personality. She is strong willed, complexed and holds a great deal of dignity. While it was challenging playing a character who ages through the story, I thoroughly enjoyed the process of understanding and playing Ruhina. I am excited about the show taking to Indian screens and looking forward to the love from the audiences yet again."
