Kansai Nerolac dedicates an exclusive installation to
Visakhapatnam under its “Breathing City” initiative
~ The installation has been placed near the Aircraft Museum on Rama Krishna Beach Road
to create better urban spaces ~
Visakhapatnam, December 12, 2019: Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd (KNPL), one of the leading
paint companies in India has unveiled an exclusive installation as a dedication to the city of
Vishakhapatnam near the Aircraft Museum on Rama Krishna Beach Road. This installation
was unveiled under the aegis of Nerolac’s novel public outreach programme “Nerolac
Breathing City” as the initiative’s first symbolic representation. The installation was unveiled
by Mr. Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao, Chairperson, VMRDA and Mr. P. Koteswara Rao, I.A.S.
Metropolitan Commissioner, VMRDA & Vice-Chairman, VKPCPIR Visakhapatnam along
with Mr. Peeyush Bachlaus, AVP – Marketing, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. as a dedication to
the city, where Kansai Nerolac is also building a paint manufacturing facility in the
Achutapuram area within Vishakhapatnam district. “Nerolac Breathing City” programme, aims to contribute towards creating transformative
living spaces that are functional and aesthetically appealing. Under this programme, the
brand is looking to draw attention to and promote conversations about the need for better
urban spaces, living conditions and public health. . Further, as part of its strong commitment
towards nurturing a beautiful and healthy future for our generations to come, the brand has
consistently worked towards offering healthy home paints and product interventions with
pioneering steps such as making paints lead free, low VOC (volatile organic compounds),
fungal resistant and anti-bacterial paints etc. in vibrant colours.
