Real relationships that are greater than reel ones!
~The Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya ladies get emotional at the Nominations bash of Zee Rishtey Awards 2019 ~
Over the past 27 years, Zee TV has given television audiences stories that have resonated with the sensibilities of the Indian middle class, mirroring their hopes and aspirations. And none of this would have been possible without the contributions of innumerable actors, directors, producers, creative teams, technicians who work relentlessly round the clock to bring you all your favorite daily primetime shows. Year after year, the channel has carried on its legacy of acknowledging their contribution and celebrating the special relationship Zee TV has built with its viewers through its annual property - 'Zee Rishtey Awards'. This year, the channel laid out the red carpet for its family of celebrities and creative teams for a star-studded night of announcing the nominations of Zee Rishtey Awards across various categories. The bash saw the who’s who across Zee TV’s primetime get together, let their hair down and have a ball!
With the whole Zee Mahakutumb coming under one roof, the members of the Kumkum and Kundali Bhagya families also came together and made a stunning appearance on the Red Carpet. During the event, we witnessed a very emotional moment between the leading ladies of Kumkum and Kundali Bhagya. While playing host for the Zee Rishtey Awards – Nomination Party, Supriya Shukla, who plays the role of Sarla Arora, the mother of all the 3 leading ladies of the two shows – Pragya, Preetha and Srishti, got overwhelmed with the success that the three had achieved . Making for a sweet reunion, Sriti Jha (Pragya from Kumkum Bhagya), Shraddha Arya (Dr. Preetha Arora from Kundali Bhagya) and Anjum Faikh (Srishti Arora from Kundali Bhagya) joined her on stage and all of them got emotional, hugged each other and relived their moments of shooting together like BFFs.
While Supriya was proud of her on-screen daughters, Sriti mentioned that her first win at Zee Rishtey Awards felt empty until Supriya (Sarla Maa) was there. All three ladies in their emotional state spoke so lovingly that Supriya was left teary-eyed. To which Supriya said, “Co-actors have different types of connections with different people, but I feel blessed that our relationship is more than just on-screen. It is a very special connection that I have with all the three girls and I feel honoured to play Mom to all three of them.”
Supriya Shukla also put a ‘black teeka’ on the three girls and wished that their bond stays the same and unko nazar na lage! This moment was so heart-warming and sweet, that all the actors of the Zee Mahakutumb were overwhelmed looking at the bond these four women share.
To witness this moment of pure love between co-actors and much more, tune into Zee Rishtey Awards Nomination Party on Sunday, 24th November at 8 pm, only on Zee TV!
