The Favourite (7 December)

Early 18th century England is at war with the French. Nevertheless, duck racing and pineapple eating are thriving.  A frail Queen Anne occupies the throne and her close friend Lady Sarah governs the country in her stead while tending to Anne’s ill health and mercurial temper.  When a new servant Abigail arrives, her charm endears her to Sarah. Sarah takes Abigail under her wing and Abigail sees a chance at return to her aristocratic roots. As the politics of war become quite time consuming for Sarah, Abigail steps into the breach to fill in as the Queen’s companion. Their burgeoning friendship gives her a chance to fulfil her ambitions and she will not let woman, man, politics or rabbit stand in her way.

The groundbreaking drama series, The L Word revolutionized a generation and month fall the highly anticipated sequel The L Word: Generation Q debuts with a new group of diverse, self-possessed LGBTQIA+ characters experiencing love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in LA.

Work in Progress – Season 1 (9 December)

Abby is a 45-year-old self-identified fat, queer dyke whose misfortune and despair unexpectedly lead her to a vibrantly transformative relationship. Chicago improv mainstay Abby McEnany co-created and stars in this uniquely human comedy series.

2 Broke Girls – Season 1 to 6 (14 December)

In this fun, outrageous comedy series, two girls from very different backgrounds -- Max, poor from birth, and Caroline, born wealthy but down on her luck -- wind up as waitresses in the same colorful Brooklyn diner and strike up an unlikely friendship that could lead to a successful business venture. All they need to do is come up with $250,000 in start-up expenses.

Billions– Season 4 (31^st December)

A complex drama about power politics in the world of New York high finance where shrewd, savvy U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades and the brilliant, ambitious hedge fund king Bobby "Axe" Axelrod are on an explosive collision course, with each using all of his considerable smarts, power and influence to outmaneuver the other. The stakes are in the billions in this timely, provocative series.

BOLLYWOOD MOVIE: Housefull 4 (20 December)

When 6 lovers are parted because of conspiracy and revenge in the year 1419, the characters cross paths again in 2019. However, in the present life the 3 boys are about to marry their sisters-in-law and the pairings are in the wrong order. Destiny repeats itself when the 3 couples who are choosing their wedding destination all land up in Sitamgarh again, where it all began. Will they remember their past lives in time for marriage or will they be stuck with the wrong lovers forever?
