‘SHIRDI SAI BABA’ film fame AUSHIM KHETARPAL’s another historic epic

After producing and acting in the epic feature film ‘SHIRDI SAI BABA’ which was awarded with President of India’s national integration award, Aushim Khetarpal comes up with another  historical epic    ‘BABA RAMSAA PEER’ produced by Satish Tandon Productions and Orient Tradelink  Ltd.

The film depicts the life History of the most revered princely saint from the western coast who was the first to spread the message of Hindu-Muslim unity in the 14th century.

Hindus lovingly called him ‘BABA’ and Muslims called him ‘PEER’ , the name given to him by five Persian peers who had visited India in that era and hence the name ‘BABA RAMSAA PEER’

The film boasts of a strong star cast with   Sai Bhakt Aushim Khetarpal whose popularity today has spread World wide as the preacher of Sai Baba’s commandments, essaying the key role Baba Ramsaa Peer along with Gracy Singh ( Lagaan and Munnabhai MBBS fame).

The film has been shot extensively in Mumbai, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Roncha village at the actual Samadhi of Baba Ramsaa.

The language of the film is Rajasthani and Hindi which depicts the era of the film. Special attention was given to the costumes and dialect. The music has been given by Surider Bachan with the integeration of Gujarati and Rajasthani folklores.

The film captures the magic of the period when Baba Ramsaa Peer gave humanity, peace, love and healing.

Indian Idol winner Sreeram to sing ‘Naadan Parindey’ on Star Plus’s Jo Jeeta Wahi Superstar

Melodious singer Sreeram Chandra is singing ‘Naadaan Parindey’ from Rockstar for his first performance on ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar’. He is all set to enthrall the audiences with a soulful rendition of this chart-buster.

Judges from the Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar panel have huge expectations from the versatile singer Sreeram. With his stupendous accomplishment in Indian Idol and big commercial success; he has already up his ante in the show. His performance on ‘Naadaan Parindey’ would mark his first step towards winning the ‘Superstar’ title.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar is an Indian reality television series which promises to bring past champions of ALL singing reality shows under one roof. The format of the show is such that the people who are already winners, battle it out again for the ultimate ‘Superstar Title.’

The episode will air on Saturday April 7th at 9 pm on Star Plus.

Actor Zakir Hussain in the avatar of Prince of Mughal sultanate

These days a serial Upanishad Ganga which airs on DD every Sunday at 10:00 am is becoming quite popular with the audience due to its unique style of presentation and the rareness of content. The serial which is produced by Chinmaya Mission and directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi  will now have Actor Zakir Hussain in the role of Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh coming Sunday i.e. 7^th April. 

“Till date everyone knew Dara Shikoh as elder brother of Aurangzeb but after watching this episode they will realize how very righteous and able he was. On the command of his guru Miya Mir he translated the teachings of “Upanishad” from Sanskrit to Persian” says Actor Zakir Hussain.

Zakir Hussain though has portrayed the roles of Ratnakar, Aghori Baba Avdoot and Yaksha in the serial but his favorite role in the serial has been that of Dara Shikoh. He says he had pleasure time acting this character because the way it is put forth brings out a new dimension of the character which hardly anybody knows!
