Vodafone India sets a Guinness World Records™ Feat for Uninterrupted Conversation on its Network
Achieves record for uninterrupted conversation on its network for over 25hours

Mumbai, April 3, 2012: Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunication service providers, has set a new Guinness World Records™ feat of uninterrupted conversation on its network for more than 24 hours. This record of “Most number of people in a telephone conversation relay”, makes Vodafone as the first ever telecom company in India to get a distinction for its superior network.

This record that was established on 29th March, 2012 was for an uninterrupted telephone conversation relay for 25 hours 11 minutes & 40 second in Mumbai with the most number of people. The call started on 28th March 2012 at 12 noon and went on till 13:00 hours, 11 minutes and 40 seconds. There were a total number of 36 people who participated in this uninterrupted conversation. The record was adjudicated by Mr. Jack Brockbank from Guinness World Records who was present on site.

Disha Wakhani impresses Saroj Khan in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah!

Mumbai, April 3rd, 2012: Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan has come to the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah to judge the ongoing disco dance competition.

All couples in Gokuldham society i.e. Jetha- Daya, Bhide-Madhavi, Sodhi-Roshan, Haathi- Komal & Iyer-Babita are charged up to participate and win the competition. Every pair has trained hard with a professional choreographer to impress Saroj Khan. Jetha-Daya (Dilip Joshi & Disha Wakhani) will perform on Juli –Juli (Jeete Hain Shaan Se), Bhide-Madhavi will dance on the popular number, Kisi disco mein jaye (Bade Miyan Chote Miyan) and Babita –Iyer will be performing on Dhin Tinak Dhin.

Saroj Khan said that, “I am surprised that all the couples have put in lot of effort and worked really hard for their dance performances. I am not sure who will win the title, may the best dancer win.”

Saroj Khan surprised everyone by declaring a tie between Iyer-Babita and Jetha –daya. There will be a faceoff between Iyer-Babita and Jetha –daya on the song – Aaa Dekhen Zara Kismi Kitna Hai Dum for the winner of the title. But, amongst all these celebrations Daya aka Disha was able to impress the dance maestro with her spontaneous garba act on a disco dance number.

She added that, “I was very impressed when I asked everyone to perform and Disha did an impromptu garba act on a disco number. It was hilarious and entertaining too.”

‘Deal of the Day’ on www.collectabillia.com will go live at 6a.m. today on  4th of April with an opening bid of Rs 1. Each auction will last for 5 days; with one IPL item going on auction per day.

Emraan Hashmi and Neha Dhupia stuck inside a maze for an hour while shooting for Rush

While shooting in Goa for Percept Picture’s thriller Rush,leads Emraan Hashmi and Neha Dhupia happened to get stuck in quite an amusing situation.

An initial fun song shoot turned into quite a confusing scenario as Emraan and Neha lost their way through the mirror maze created for the scene ,so much so ,that they were stuck inside for over forty minutes.

Says a source “ The crew had designed an elaborate set in Goa for the song shoot which involved this massive oval mirror maze. It was quite confusing as after some point you couldn’t differentiate the real person from his/her reflection. Though initially enamored with the maze, Emraan and Neha ended up having difficulty getting out of it .Luckily, however, they both had a good laugh about it”.

Previously titled Raftaar 24*7 ,Percept Pictures’ thriller directed by the late Shamin Desai starring Emraan Hashmi is now officially titled Rush and is scheduled to release in the second half of 2012.

Also starring Neha Dhupia and Sagarika Ghatge,the film revived by Percept Picture Company and creative director Priyanka Desai sees Hashmi play the charismatic and controversial journalist Sam who plunges into a vortex of violence in a deadly engineered game of cat and mouse .
