Sufzal Saleem youth icon  Back in Action with New and Better Body

Sufzal Saleem all of 25 years and standing tall at 6 feet has nurtured and really slogged hard in developing a personality to die for. And in such a short time having done more than 300 show all over India...including LAKME INDIA FASHION WEEK,WILLS FASHION WEEK.,MTV LYCRA STYLE AWARDS [runway}, AND MANY BRANDS like AAROW,LEVISE,LEE,PROVOUGE,ROOPAMS, PANTALOONS,etc etc, and after having also done many prints,TVC's ,PROMOS etc, as actor, anchor, VJ, RJ, is no mean achievement.

To top it all, this top10 finalist of a national personality pageant has just finished shooting for MTV Spilt villa 3 which is currently on air.  Sufzal Saleem has been ruling the ramp for the last two years now, & featured in several commercials and worked with well-known designers. Yet this is quite a beginning for the youngster. “The era of supermodels is gone. It’s like you have to prove yourself with every show! As he admits most humbly, "I would call myself a struggling model for that is what I have to do approaching people and getting the shows,”  Sufzal has also worked with international photographers  RAKESH SHRESHTA SIR,DERRAN CENTOFNTI,GAURAV SAWN, and our very own RAKESH SHRESHTA, ROHAN SHRESHTA, & Karim.

 An aspiring actor from Pune, who’s shifted to Mumbai for the projects lined up, has recently done 4 month acting course from creating characters (vidhur sir.) as he lovingly calls him.

Sufzal having dabbled in fashion in a big way is striving to make a mark again in BIG WAY in the tinsel town of Bollywood. He has everything going for him and is open to major film breaks and having a personality that can do wonders in the international arena too, is not averse to it as well. As it is he has many offers, and is spending time reading scripts, but is very careful in short listing his debut vehicle.

Mukul Dongre, son of the well known Indian classical violinist Mr. Madhav Dongre, is one of the rare musicians who have brought the flavour of Indian music through western ways, keeping western grooves rocking.

Cricketer turned Bodybuilder turned Drummer, is one of the forerunners in the industry, forever pushing the limits and boundaries of music and leading to creative and unconventional drumming. He is capable of subtler, funkier grooves on the one hand and awe-inspiring solo improvisations on the other. In fact his technical virtuosity is such that his flash could sometimes overwhelm his music.

Mukul’s drumming reflects power, technique, dynamics and musicality. He adds his own innovative concepts and strengths, thus creating a percussive punch that's unique and his alone, yet highly musical and groove-oriented. He can play in a wide variety of musical genres, but is perhaps most notable for his fusion and Latin music playing. He is mostly known for Afro Cuban Latin drumming which is rare in India. He uses all four limbs both individually and as a collective to present multi-timbral sound scapes, adding Konnakol (the art of performing percussion syllables vocally) which is the fifth element in his Independence drumming, defining the drum set as a contemporary solo instrument for the world stage.
Generally acclaimed as a fusion drummer, Mukul harnessed his amazing dexterity into South & North Indian complexities. With an ensemble starcast there are bound to be loggerheads, but that was far from what happened on the sets of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2 –

If sources are to be believed ,“The Dirty Dozen” got along like a house on fire with mad antics both on and off-screen.

Lead actress Asin who stars alongside Akshay Kumar in the masala-entertainer ,especially, was all praise for her co-stars.

Says Asin, “It’s my first multiheroine film and I had a blast with all the girls. Zareen, Jacqueline and Shazahn are very sweet and down-to-earth..I was thankfully spared by Akshay. I wasn’t a target of his pranks, but I bonded equally with John. He’s half Malayali and I am one too, so we spoke about the food and culture and all things Mallu. I even tried to teach him a bit of the language” .

After opening to an approximate collection of 10 crores at the box office,Illuminati's Agent Vinod shows a steady graph and went on to gross 10.25 cr on its second day.

Agent Vinod had the cash-registers ringing on Saturday especially in multiplexes in prime metros across the country,in spite of the ongoing exams,with evening shows running to full houses. Surprisingly,the film is also doing encouragingly well at single centres and is looking at an early estimate weekend of over 30 cr.

Internationally too ,Agent Vinod is quite a subject of heated discussion ,with the film doing good business in Dubai and UK.

“John was a great support ” says Ayushmann Khurrana


VJ-turned-actor Ayushmann Khurrana who makes his Bollywood debut with JA Entertainment’s quirky comedy Vicky Donor is all praise for producer John Abraham –

Known to be a thorough professional, John Abraham went ahead to shoot for a special song for his home production Vicky Donor, in spite of suffering from a hairline fracture. And if that wasn’t all, the actor-producer also stayed back patiently shooting through 26 retakes of the song till the wee hours of the morning till Ayushmann got his steps right.

Says a source “The shoot of the song was expected to wrap up by 1.30 am but went on till 5 in the morning.Ayushmann was nervous sharing screen space with John and was taking time to get his steps right but John was very patient and helped Ayushmann despite nursing an injured knee.It was only after 26 retakes that the song was successfully canned”.

Confirms Ayushmann, “John was very supportive and was helping me boost up my energy. He had an injured leg but he still went on shooting till about 5 in the morning! He totally backed me up.”

Prelims for Corralejo Teqnicians Mixology Challenge 2012 will be held in 5 cities across IndiaNew Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata where bartenders and mixologists from various hotels and restaurants are participating. The finalists chosen from each city will spar in the grand finale which will be held in New Delhi on the 9th of April 2012.
