ReviveOdisha, a ZEE initiative to revive Odisha’s livelihood


Mumbai, June 11, 2019: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), a leading media and entertainment powerhouse has launched an initiative, #ReviveOdisha to help revive the livelihood of the cyclone Fani-affected citizens of Odisha. As a responsible organisation, ZEEL aims to stand with the citizens afflicted by the calamity by reaching out to the length and breadth of the country using its network strength.

The scale of damage caused by Cyclone Fani was massive and horrifying. It has not only hampered the ecosystem of the state but also impacted them emotionally. Though lives were saved, the livelihood of the common man such as the local fishermen, rickshaw pullers, coconut sellers, shack owners has been lost, leaving them without the means to support their family. Through this initiative, ZEE wishes to bring back the livelihood and give the people of Odisha a reason to believe and start a new phase of life. We appeal to the people of India to come together and help revive Odisha through this initiative.

#ReviveOdisha urges people to donate to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). The organisation is generating awareness about the loss incurred by the natives and the essentials required to rehabilitate the lives of the disaster-hit families. As relief and rehabilitation work is in progress for cyclone-ravaged Odisha, citizens can now donate by logging onto:  cmrfodisha.gov.in
